Publish a written, public disaster policy for individuals under supervision.
Very few agencies publish a document that an individual under supervision can find and read when a disaster is approaching. Agencies should post a short, plain-language policy on their website, reachable in as few clicks as possible and linked from a page individuals under supervision already visit (e.g., a reporting portal). The policy should be reviewed and updated annually, and it should account for a range of hazards rather than a single kind of event.
